Our live streaming will be available in two different types.
Live Interactive Streaming via Zoom and,
Live Broadcast via Zoom and/or Vimeo.
What is the difference?
Live Interactive enables you to view the stream and also join in with your own webcam and microphone.
You can see the teacher and the teacher can see you.
The format for this type of event is for the teacher to speak to everyone attending the stream at the beginning of the class and then request that everyone mute their microphones whilst the stream is taking place. Then at the end of the class, everyone unmutes their microphones so you can then discuss the class with the teacher and ask any questions that you may have. This type of live stream is not recorded so cannot be watched at a later time.
Live Broadcast is a live-streamed class that has no user interaction. The teacher will stream the class live whilst you follow in the comfort of your own home or venue. This type of class will also be recorded so that it can be viewed at a later time.
You only require a device to be able to view this type of stream a webcam or microphone is not required.
Can I just turn up and start watching a live stream?
No. All live classes require that you head to our class timetable and register for the event. For safety reasons, an account is required you cannot be a guest user on the website and attend a live class.
What do I need to attend a live class?
For Zoom based classes you will need to download the app to your device to attend. You can download Zoom for your device from their website.
For Vimeo based classes you can access in a variety of ways. You can download a player such as VLC player for Windows, Mac iOS and Andriod, Media Player for Windows, Quicktime for Mac iOS and more.
You can also view Vimeo streams through a browser using the link provided for the class which is provided in your account after you have registered to attend a Live Broadcast stream.
Vimeo can also be installed on smart TV’s and Amazon Firestick devices.
Live Stream Quality and Internet Speed
Live streaming relies on internet connection speeds for both ourselves as the streaming provider and your own internet connection speed as the receiver.
We recommend a device that can view a minimum of 360p quality and if you have trouble viewing a live stream, for example, poor picture quality or buffering (waiting for the stream to resume) then we recommend that you test your internet connection and disconnect any other devices that are connected to ensure the best speed possible.

Faster is obviously better and wired connections are often more stable than wifi connections. If in doubt we recommend trying a wired connection to see if there are any issues with your wifi connection.
We have teamed up with Vimeo and Zoom to provide the best streaming solutions possible. With cloud-based technology, the streaming service is designed to be routed to a service provider closer to your location to ensure that you receive the stream as quickly as possible.
As the internet and its services providers can sometimes have issues outside of our control we are unable to predict or promise that a stream will be interrupted, delayed, or quality. Slower internet connections may result in a delay in the stream of up to 10 seconds. This can be sometimes resolved in video players and devices by adjusting your video quality settings. 12mbps+ download speed – recommended video quality 2k and higher
